Parenthood and parenting include various responsibilities and duties. The role map of parenting, developed by Southwest Finland Child Welfare District, shows which areas of parenting are important from the professional perspective.
The role map as such does not give answers to the challenges of parenting, but it may help to understand the content of parenthood and parenting. It may be of assistance in self-evaluation, in discussions about parenthood and parenting and in parenting groups. Here is an adapted version of the original role map of parenthood.
